What is The Five Million Project?
The Five Million Project is a missionary funding initiative that operates under the conviction that the targeted suffering of Christians including imprisonment, torture, property seizure, forced displacement, and martyrdom constitutes a serious and ongoing violation of human rights, including the right to freedom of religion or belief as enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. To respond to this crisis, the project mobilizes Canadian donors and the global Church to provide direct financial support, emergency relief, and sustained resourcing to Christian missionaries and communities operating in regions of high persecution.
